Rewind

The journeyman says - life brings you back to your mistakes,
Fears and forgotten roads are all trodden again.
Life is what you make it out to be. Silly, still, and unamusing.
Interesting is the conflict of your age-old self with the time immemorial.

On a windy morning - I hear the heart mourning,
Wailing in its boxed cage, thumping, clawing, and fading away,
To be heard as the voice of reason while it suffocates,
It's the end of another life that had no right living.

The extraordinaire dreams die of the cliche,
Shoot for the stars is a fabled death when the world torches itself.
All the mistakes of others and you're just a life repeat,
In life, we live the mistakes of the ones that could never see.
Beyond the journey of their short quests and achievements of fate.
I'm just another dot in the voided space - flapping my clipped wings.

Silent echoes

The evening's hungover, it lingers its stay...
Nothing's welcome, at least not anywhere I stay.
My thoughts are lackadaisical, the world's - abysmal!
I like the fabled fables of a distant faraway land,
Of a man's courage and the women who were indeed brave.
Of fearless, silly flirts and their battle with death,
Of a shipwreck and the tides that spewed just one to say its tale.
It is in a messenger's nepotism that I see the world,
While my windows just carry the scent of willows and the air of heroes.
The attic is damp and the bottles are now free at last,
To ferry my queries to a Viking on his quest...
Dear Sire... can you swoosh your triumph in this bottle of mine?
So that I will drink it on a fateful night fighting the demons in my head?

'Ruse of falling stars'

What does the heart want?
Is it the hurt of a reach lost?
A world anew or the fact that it was long lost?
The past haunts, runs amok like frost giants,
In this world of my fragmented past,
It is a light and I became to be the match burnt out.

If a lantern wobbled its flame, would my gush blow it out?
Would my treason reason with me tonight instead?
The moments that once lived and lasted;
Would the heart reignite it back to life again?
With a genie’s touch, I became the morbid lost years,
Dark was the night always, but my fears morphed with the sunrays!

A dystopia or a world weaved in its ripples?
A peep, a chapter or the reflections marauding a whiskey’s paint?
The things that it wanted are now poison in my veins.
A running gauntlet, an executioner’s chopping block,
the noose of a hangman or in the sleep of a less tired,
would the reels play it slow for once? Say, freeze me a frame?

I wear a sweater knit of memory lapses,
would the winds of change be for once kind instead?
Million smiles, all gets buried when the heart sees its epithet,
“Here lies a kindle hearted who never knew what his heart wanted”

Shadows and thieves

Innuendo I - a fragment, the past helped build,
Coming of age and the boyish charm I was of frisked,
Beats that I now listen to and the songs I left behind...
Is it good, touch of a life that feels like it has been?
A bag slinged, a smile on and the shoes like they have run,
The roads I see, still remains. Day after day and I look away.
Breaking in and shaping up, someday, I will grow a smirk,
Your chalice would touch my cup. Drinks will spill and I would be a puff.

Tiptoes in the dark, the bitter fragments of the past,
A thief sneaks in. His marauding gaze seeks the golden gleam.
There is music in his pockets and dance in his footsteps.
He is shrouded in smoke, jiggered like I was on pills.
Black as in stark, confident with each hours of the dark...
On the bed, with a horse shoe smile, I lie in comatose & he sees:
In the years that I have seen, I have been a smile, a tale unseen…
Will you do nothing if I was a current and the river took me away?
If the reach was high, would you pull me in or should I lean?

The clinks of gold & that priceless smile,..
What was once the world for me, lies in the attic.
Beneath the dust and for the things that escaped the rust,
Tonight, I am visited by the happy mid-nighter!!

Fish & a bait'

It’s early in the morning; gentle is the summer’s breeze,
The talks are rife of the night in these corners of the sultry streets,
Raspy of what the jarred windows and their sights have seen…
Missing notably today’s the customary decadence of greetings,
No longer muffled, devoid of any care, gone seems brusque in their banter.
The cruising winds carry the gongs of an early hour near its beginning,
And the light’s advent brings the sentiments on the green.
“It’s different today, unlike any morning I’ve ever seen.”

The trees are wary & a blanket of flowers that have seen their sheen..
Fresh are the memories, of the world, of the lived and of my tale,
The blades are blunt, when today the eulogies are being sung.
I know this is ruse, my elicit for their response…
But if they’d know of my wait, they’d be celebrating instead!
Carousing of pain which was mine, marooned where thoughts & was its life,
…did they see me reaching for tides, arms leveled and thoughts sly?
In their requiem, on how bereft went my days..no more, not after today!!
Unfazed, I join. Silly, in their jargons, they forget, “This silence is mine!”

'Recall'

There were times, saddled, riddled and when I was brittle,
There will be days, when the smiles would sink,
In nights when the dreams would be cursed with a nightmare’s touch
In playing of the sheep, when I would revere a wolf’s touch.

In the known of my being, I will never be fine.

It has been long, distant and distances have been borne,
The curve of green, the wearing off a smile too keen,
In still longing of being heard, I wait..like I have forever
It’s abysmal how a touch can be both a bait and fever!

If I could catch a second and be longed as a visitor,
Wait would be over and the wilt of seeing would be sober.
I have seen the future, braiding through the fragments of past,
But I hold in my cup, the gulp that has long been over!

If I could still claim a stake and if time was generous instead…

Would the dugout be happy or would the reaper be instead kind?
There will be nights, when the tussles would be less,
There are days when the smiles feel like they praise,
But the crater is now deep, the soiled hands – they’re tired.

Here and there, I am caught in a temple of listless…
When missteps pace the treads and place reeks of being haunted!

Happy B’day o’ Storyteller!

The palms are nested and so are my sights,
The music hums and loses its reverberates..
It’s been days, months that I’ve known this tree’s shade,
The raindrops have a glaze now while the sun has a face..
Will you play, will you stay? If only you behaved!
I promise and you trust. Wildering wild and still sober.
We are kids with weaknesses each-
Often sitting and still making a world better.
The stories are chartered and painted are its mayhem,
The fool gets a watch, the day doors wore a look.

I wind the springs of my soul, turn the clock and open a door..
Lead my sights a padding graze,
And there you are..amidst the setting sun,
In the runs of my gaze, carefree they traipse..
In my reach for the stars, wonder where we met?
Music to ears, your smiles and my banter.
Lonely as trees in summers, your hugs and me being the hugger!

In the bashes of your sights, the glimpses I took…
Are or aren’t you regal a real? An enchantress that has me hooked?
In misses of a missus, a silent smile you were to crook.
In wilted few tales, a story that would sweep radars off the hook
It was easy, the wait. Hard were the seconds they took.!
Insipid a crown and the princess she was to this tinsel town anew,
Riches were tattered, rags were split, all lost to a man & his kind,
The silent your smile, lost your guile..& I was brood!
Then in wonders of synchrony, the breaths you took..

The doors wore a look, hands pocketed their talk and spooked!

Time Capsule & in it, an evening'

Let us call it one fine evening..I’l open the door to usher you in,
Tiptoe like you were walking a razor thin & a hug be waitin’
It’s misty as it had rained this morning; the leaves have a shine & you a gleam,
In the wrap of the arms around, you hear a rustle of being missed.
Take off all the weights that you have been weighing since morning..
The two shoes & a dress the world has seen,
Leave a trail that leads till the bed, and I will follow!
You and me, lost in dunes of time, indulging in some guilty pleasures,
The talks of you that have me, the ones of times that I haven’t seen.
In sight, I play the stray strands of hair and with the mystics of the unseen,
Let us call it one fine evening..I’l open the door to usher you in!

A dream sequin and where the time is satin,
It’s surreal, the beauty you when is sleeping,
Glee in rhythm of emotions,
Breathe that’s by now coastal winds.
Plastered to wall, all I see is you in twinkle windowed light..
Frivolous our hands, I try & seamlessly they fit in,
With you besides, I refrain and the sleep too complies,
Preludes be such an evening.. I’l  open the door to usher you in!

In the douse of rings or in a dream’s tale,
The flurry of lashes, when they do wake..
Would they find the bed, still the world’s favorite place?
The hugs of sleep, in the welting of having slept sound tonight,
the confines of arms & when retourne warm you smile..sigh!!
Waging a war against time & when you do decide,
The mornings be kind & so will be my sight..
Steal you in wraps before the shower soaks you in,
It’s raining and the world is outside, the trees & placid the usual sights,
We will drop the curtains and call it one fine evening!

Sonnets of a Passerby'

In death ode an haunt, in smile of a taunt,
Grew a sign, silly silk killed me of a shine.
Breaths that skipped, jogged and blipped..
In the gaze of yours, ceilings that slit.

The free is a world, with astern a curse,
In the coming of you, the going it brings!
Askew another, taken away is a tale,
Frisks and shrugs, the world that remains..

So, smile dearie..for the reason of spring,
The painted of hurt, for a canvas benign,
In life of trust, bondage belays unspoken free words,
The sight of new and in shut eyes that care to dream.

a blank’s fill'

The silence mulled a life in it’s return,
Of d small’s world and of having seen it burn.
Charred when the reality douses,
Robbed-the trickster grin, a hollowed gleam.

Serious a shade, lucky for my world’s abate,
In maims of gust, another life’s tucked..
What goes in the head, whence he frisks & you he raids?
In the pain of you, the pleasure he gets?
Realms of horror, making hours of tale..
The right’s wronged but the God’s are long dead!

The beloved of one’s, bolstered away..
The love of another, ploughed to death.
One had it all and the delusions in his head!
For one the power of taking it all.
Instead I sleep, rest my toe if they ever had to bail..
Luck's for billions, in countless grunts of the dead.

Bloodhound

In a leashed tight, a strife;
Ganged where the snarls, plays & with it my fight,
The world’s reflection steeled in a listless gaze..
Disputes if the purpose ever had a life.
Kept for my strides are long ,
Senses sharp & the animism strong.
In my loyal daze, thought I ‘ld be free..
Of an endless chase & a collar’s crease.

For each hunt should be my last,
The sounds of gun & the pounds of hoof..
Loose it & run when I can to the outstretched woods,
Why instead I chase a prey with vigor anew?
Why waifs my life with the same plight?
When the pleads pray mercy, impulses croon.
Raison d'Ăªtre, a piece of meat & for a pat or two?

To the vastness of world, my ranch I choose,
To live a little, another hunt & in it my freedom.

Decoded Whim.

Haunted, bantered, withered..
Seeking a gun & a helping hand for trigger.
Greased, smeared, mocked perennial..
Seeking a light for this abysmal tunnel.
Liked, loved, cared like no other..
Seeking an angst, a destroyer & his pleasure.

True where each revenant in a world is,
Lingual, not where a soul speaks.
colors red, green; each painted pain where is,
seas where have a life unseen..
serenades the sun, skips where no evening,
Seeking a world for this pariah's footprint.

A limn tickle, blimey where be evenings,
Seeking a tree-house to house this spring.
In eyes of each battling, renounced for my being,
Seeking an eye to see me in its blink.
aah' altruist, not caring an inch,
Seeking a god to take away his blessing.

Raison d'Ăªtre

It’s a hearted tale of years long yore..
When the couches sang & smelled in thoughts of your;
Of a lady & in her un-relinquishing smile..
A beat would croon and gyrate me where-I’d never know!
Shouldered like a crippled, in the walk of its pleasure,
Every daze, every rayed beat was where a cradle..
The sigh of a sleeping soul, the metamorphic her dreams like made in gold,
In superman my vigil, the only life was my for her to skittle.

Where each song had a reason, in the grooves & its treason..
I have been captive since, in the requiem of then a vision.
Dusted an old cedar, the love still where grows ..
'Love me like a cheap wine, uncork me & and then throw..'
Trifles of bespectacled, in bouts of lousy few visions,
'Your talk & smile, still haunt of never having gone'.

In sketched a paint, in the darkened a rain,
Misplaced where a trust, the corpse & the drug.
Kisses bound in the perfect touch, pressed noses & dreamy twirls,
In the known & in its passage, wherever it had to go..
Maybe a smile would seep, parade out while you dream tonight,
Wheeze a light year atop its broom, find a house & drop in besides,
Ring me to the chimes, I will at least sleep in your thoughts nice.
Pray me, revel for me a sight- the kill or at least a benignly life ! !

Portfire sleep & a wake'

Shadow shrouds a glaze,
It’s a bright sunny day, in my dream it rains,
Effeminates, drowns in then drains.
Fit in pieces or break their realm,
The scattered sands, here welsh on the bade.
Freeze a night unlike its soul,
The touch of dark, cold are the stars,
Mottles of white, each neglects with benign.
So, lay a smile..steal them of a counted life, comes a dream:
Of a rant less abode, rocked atop a river,

While I gaze the leave, why do I shiver?

Embrace the lonely, embarrass would the love be?
Enchant the story, lessons would the life see?
In turn of events, would I loose or make a stand?
The life I see in, a mirage or a loose end?
Very few have seen the blood, spewed dark but not its cut,
Instilled a life, that can not the future see..
Pons asinorum of passersby & in my fight,
Alays a reality of a world that will & with you end.

Hear-Hear

Sailed & at the helm I lose my walk,
werewolvesque atrocious demons stalk
Means of the world, makes no sense at all,
muckamuck the grey strands do mock.
Marauds an uncouthly past,
dark its clan of colors & nights - loud
The accordion bleeds a waft,
a sane sings out aloud..bow bastard & I’ll applaud!

If ever a myth could talk, cross my legs, sit.
I’ld pay to see a shaman’s altruist a vision..

The nefarious, ghosts & a world of having lived,
Let them build, stitch to rip, unearth life’s mystique..
'On the gliding through breeze,
ataraxy breached by evil intentions,
The veneer of joy..
& of being a peccant in midst of celebrations.
Scares & creeps their existence; only if they could reason.
Does it pain- the angst or in joy they croon;
or could their heart ever like before weep?'

(A dead man's unfilled wishes are just devoice.)

Footprints in dry land

Skies fall in chunks & in few,
The love is smaller in lived off through..
In here’s the world growing smaller,
Back & in forth, off toppled & in flow..
Frisks a life of smiling through,
off marauding a past & scraping through you.
why live a tale of heralding another abysmal view?
Jinxed a past & in fit off the flew..
I grew a horn & bled for what was you!

A hurt, a love..felo de se-few cuts,
Gyrated in dust, the wind stood the stormed dust,
What became & what belittled the worships of a skew,
another tatter, another hurt that he’d garrison off you?
It was yours the universe, the love’s only view..
the smile, the flood, the lively & the dud..
in a smile, few trickles of a beguile,
Treachery of distant a light amidst sinister a night..
stranded remained leveled where fingered a print,
the life was weaved in whispers you spoke to me..
& I’d fly..the buttoned breath off your shirt’s life,
the smile still remains elusive in this rummaged me!!

Flash flood & my rivulet'

Night’s young & so are you my lady smile..
The days been turned, abysmal in a sigh tonight.
(Engulfs a sound that I’ve hated all life)
My heart’s thrown and all for squashed on a pave way,
In a night that would frisk away, the life I had & would never stay.

Vamoose, heralds my raised eyebrow,
This life is not for you to know.
Memories frisked to a door, the streets I ever did get to know,
Tears & a dark retains your smile..
My home is all that stays tonight, dark as it can get..

Returns a dark sight, silhouette dark amidst the smiles.
Frisked the life that the realm has ever seen in me,
Pigeon to a silent kill, dark as it would have to be.
I have a vision, had by one too many my lady I've never been,
Let some play, some with not you stay,
Near & so near, let their march stray..
In a dark trench & in a viewed from grave..
Free lived a man to tell a tale..in spurts of neigh & wail’

Word salad filleth crumpled a sheet'

Dare to dream, free seems the girded where sleep,
Look out a window sill, lights tip & tease ..
Out stretches the hands & where the fingertips,
Mockery of nights cajole me hence to sleep.
High & higher still, the chronicles here stay & weep,
Strange hurt, strings of wronged here the hurt..
Often shrouds the feeling-wronged at times, in angst & their bleed,
The scars stay & lightens the sparks a guilt of fire..
Blown but stays the life blinded in the seen,
Sonorous nights & the fine their weaved in treachery,
Brio burns a deepened seed, never lonely seems hell’s mystique,
Sophist & in injects of its wisdom, life connects dots..
Hallelujah & the crap the world always believes,
The crumpled sheet sees dumped another window sill!

Mirage

Kiss & the breath she exhaled..
In the mortal gaze, drunk became his blood cells,
So began a tale, tempted in the illustrious of a temptress,
In fills of divine, the lives that’d be saved..alas it was my!
The sun beats of smile, the silence that split a cry..
Tempered in the cob-webbed, in beguiles of a life..
A wanderer’s mooch lead to lips,
In my parable, the mirage was met with closed eyes.

Unlike the morning hue, the haste remained,
Like a puppet, every string had me carried away,
A verse stilted, the ink rang of speeches..
Blue became dark cement, the unseen brimmed of life,
The wake tush by a bell, the nonchalance retourné
Broach her quaver lips, my mirage had me for life.

minutia of a fall'

The river that turns, touches & in it us hurls,
A black is the dust, abyss that’s dusk.
The man that’s the prison, the sentence he serves,
Emotions and the siren’s they with change,
A life that has been true, now no longer remains,
In plea of sanity, in the plummets of a sane!

The hounds and the howls, the lost and the ghoul,
In waged a war, the heroes were never found,
The treasured a cut, the muted their blood.
Wit sprinkled a hat, the head lost in a girls rack,
In stories that float the reverie of a Soothsayer,
Frisks of touch and the lasting that remains,
In plea of sanity, in the plummets of a sane!

Wiccan and in the light of that smile,
My trouble manifested their after-life.
A savant’s rant & the grimaces, its lament,
Queasy this wearied everybody’s life..
Crumbles the wall, numbered their fall,
Even the cursed have lived where it all,
In plea of sanity, in the plummets of a sane!
