Inkstand Town

Years ago, grew old a town
Of all the hearty residents folks. .
this’s a story of one such bloke.
In a horrid storm he rode aback his horse,
Pounding hoofs were lost & d dust settled on his trod,
It rained heavy as cursed the gods,
The paved path was lost. .& time too.

He heard a whisper carry a name along,
The bearer of voice was not earthbound.
to an angel’s voice he directed his reigns,
the sights of love. .he thought he would see again
It seeped water. .so the tide was high
He was carried & off a cascade.

Of all the torments he faced that night,
None compared to the demons inside,
He waged a battlefront on both sides
If only the voice had called his name aloud
He rests in the bottom till night. .
Waiting for d winds to bear a familiar noun.
