'Prince Frog'

Drugged, I am morbid in my sleep tonight
A blip like green blot & it’s crescendo fall,
My lullaby the earth’s cacophony
Flicker’s light across, pale hatred flows
In familiar sea of emotions,
I am washed vehemently ashore.
The sleep no more hates my pillows,
I dream a morning wail,
The voice now no longer chokes.

Perspires. .my sheets of sweat soak
I drift in a dream through a door,
Where no longer knocks
My feet on any trapdoors . .
Shackled but no longer bound
In my sights, their hate surrounds
A pity will see me across a spellbound
The witch’s prophecy will come around !
